Haunted Highways premiere

May

The waiting is OVER!

Well, sure – I COULD keep stringing everyone along and drag this project out indefinately.  And given the chance, thats exactly what I’d do.

No…  seems to jump start my creative process, I simply MUST create deadlines for myself.  Therefore you WILL see the first ever “Haunted Highways” webisode premiere Saturday, May 21st. This first webisode will feature the investigation that Marley and I conducted at the site where James Dean perished in a car crash 56 years ago.

Stay tuned!

A “tail” of two “Kitties”

Hey everyone!

You may or may NOT be aware, but this past January, we got two new members to our rolling household!  Their names are Madi and Boo and they are just about the most adorable kittens you’ve ever seen!

A Facebook friend recently informed us that Purina was searching for its first ever “Cat Correspondent”; a cat owner and cat to travel the country and visit interesting locations.

Obviously this was a no-brainer to us (and hopefully to Purina as well!)  We already travel full-time in our RV motorhome along with our kittens!

Unfortunately for us, we learned about this less than 2 weeks before the deadline to turn in our application!  That wouldn’t be so much a problem except that they asked for an optional audition video.  Seeing as how I (Patrick) am a videographer and Marley is a writer with a 23 year marketing background, we knew we could make the sale to Purina best in a short film.  So we got to work!

Here is our finished audition video on youtube.  If you enjoy it, please go post a nice comment on the Youtube page! =)

Fingers and paws crossed we get the gig!

Spring has SPRUNG!

Hey all!

Patrick and Marley here.  Yea yea – we know.  its been several months since you last heard from us.  Well, we’ve been BUSY darn-it!  We wintered as you know out on the West Coast and did PLENTY of investigating and filming on the road.  We also managed to attend a few conferences while we were there.  Marley wrote her upcoming book “Radiate” which will be out in May of 2012.

We also have 2 new additions to our rolling household!  Madison and Boorigard (AKA Madi and Boo) are the two most adorable kittens you’ve ever seen!  And see them more and more in the coming months you will!

Then again, if you’ve been following us on our Facebook pages, you already knew all this! ;)

We’re en route at the moment to Gettysburg PA for Phenomenology 103.  A great conference we look forward to speaking at every year.

We’ve got a couple of big deadlines due this week, so this is brief.  You’ll be hearing more from us in the coming weeks!

Stay safe!

And so it begins…

Hey everyone!

Patrick here (Marley is driving, but waving from across the console!). We’ve been teasing you with lots of mentions of our big project we have in the works, and its officially started!

As many of you know (or don’t know), we’re driving west starting next week. Literally moving from the Atlantic coast to the Pacific coast. We’ll call southern California “Home” for the winter months. We’re really excited to be heading back to So-Cal and being able to visit with our friends and fans! Lots of stuff going on for us out on the “left” coast, but more on that later!

As I type, we’re just south of Washington DC. We’re headed to the “Haunted Ramblewood Fall Fest” in Darlington Maryland this weekend. Marley and I are presenting tomorrow (saturday) from 6:15 to 7:45 PM. We hope you’ll come by and see us! Tickets are still available here.

Then it’s “West, Miss Teschmacher!”  We’re headed to California, by way of Chicago, St. Louis, Oklahoma, northern Texas, Santa Fe and Albuquerque New Mexico , Flagstaff Arizona and finally ending up in Los Angeles on November 24th – the day before Thanksgiving!  We’re on a VERY tight timetable, but we’re also looking for places to ghost hunt (and that are camera-friendly) while we head west along the I-40 corridor.  Well, mostly on I-40, but we can make short detours off if there is something really cool to check out!  So if you’re in the area and can recommend some of your favorite haunts that we can film, let us know!

See you on the road! =)

Welcome!

Hey everyone!

Patrick and Mar here.  The new site as you can see is coming across quite nicely!  There is still LOTS of work to do yet, so be patient while the new site gets up to speed.

Tonight (August 30′th) has us camping in the Appalachian mountains near Helen Georgia.  We’ll be here for the next few days, working and getting in a little R&R.  Then we’re off to Atlanta for Dragon*Con!  D*C is the largest scifi and fantasy convention in north America, attracting over 45,000 attendees last year!  Patrick has been speaking at this conference since 2000 – way before the paranormal was hip and trendy, and certainly several years before television came knocking at his door!  We’re looking forward to seeing many of our friends and fans there, so come by and say HI!  We’ll be sitting in the “Paranormal Gateway” room in the Sheraton Hotel during its hours of operation,  and Patrick will be speaking at 1:00 on Friday, and 11:00 AM on Saturday about his work on “Haunting Evidence”.

More info on the Dragon*Con paranormal track can be found here – http://paranormal.dragoncon.org
